Exploring Arm Balances

It is strongly recommended that participants have a regular Yoga practice for this workshop. ‍However no arm balance experience is required!

This workshop may not be suitable for those with shoulder, neck , hips, wrist and/or back issues. Please contact us for a chat if in doubt.

Workshop Info


What to expect:

This fun & lighthearted 2 hour workshop will include;

A safe and supportive space to explore yoga postures that may sit outside of your comfort zone.

A short dynamic yoga class to warm up, mobilise and prepare the body for the chosen arm balances.

Specific mobility & strength drills to activate the required muscles needed for the chosen arm balances.

Crow & Side Crow variations using Yoga props for support as well as the chance to try these poses unaided (for those that would like to!).

Cool down and guided relaxation.

And no doubt a little laughter along the way! ;-)


Pre requisites:

A regular yoga practice (6 months +) you do not have to be advanced practitioner to join us.


The courage to move outside of your comfort zone and the willingness to try something different!

As the name suggests, this workshop will be exploring arm balances, therefore this workshop may not be suitable for those with wrist, neck, shoulders, back or hip injuries or joint conditions such as osteoporosis, where compression and flexion under high load is not recommended.
